You may not be able to get a license in your current State of residence because Michigan has a hold on your driving record.

- Completing a substance abuse evaluation with a state licensed substance abuse

- Provide written testimonials from people you have frequent contact with.
- Have at least one year of abstinence.
You may be represented by legal counsel, but it is not mandatory.
